What makes an open site harder
An open site rarely has a single entrance. Anyone wanting to control it has to capture every one of them. Leave one unobserved and long-term parkers move to exactly that spot, so the rule effectively applies only to everyone else.
At the same time the building effort is lower than in a multi-storey. Cameras at the entrances need power and a network, nothing else. A barrier by contrast demands a foundation, mechanics and an entrance that can be narrowed structurally.
The third point is the visibility of the rules. Where no wall and no barrier signals that somebody is in charge, the sign at the entrance has to carry that job alone.
Car park administration without staff on site
Administration comes down to three things: maintaining permits, spotting breaches, tracing revenue. All three can be handled by number plate, without anyone walking the site.
Permits are held per vehicle, group and period – staff permanently, suppliers once, guests for a day. Changes take effect immediately, with no passes and no handing over of keys.
We run the site completely, including questions from your parkers. You see occupancy and revenue but do not have to deal with the daily routine.

- That depends on size, the number of entrances and the operating model you want. We do not work with flat rates – after the first conversation and an analysis of your site you receive a concrete offer.
- Does the site have to be fenced?
- No. Capture happens at the entrances, not at the property line. What matters is that the ways in and out can be clearly identified and that the sign hangs visibly there.
- What about several entrances?
- Every entrance gets capture. If one stays unobserved, that is where the bypass forms – the most common planning mistake on open sites.
- Do I need staff on site?
- No. Permits, payments and questions run digitally, entirely through us if you wish. All that stays on site is the hardware at the entrances.
