Hello goodwill

Do you think the charge is unjustified?

Then tell us what happened. We look at every case on its own and answer in a way you can follow. The aim is a free parking space, not an argument with you.

How we see it.

Rules on a car park serve a purpose: the bays should be available to the people they are meant for. Anyone who sticks to them should pay nothing and explain nothing.

Sometimes things still go wrong. This page exists for exactly those cases.

First, the simple route.

Some cases resolve without any appeal: the parking fee can be paid online for up to 48 hours after the visit ends, provided no payment request has been issued yet – you simply enter your plate there. If your visit falls inside that window, that is the shortest way.

Pay the parking fee online

With the file number straight into your case.

Your payment request carries a file number. It is also your access to our online portal: sign in with it and you are inside the right case straight away – nothing to look up, nothing to match.

In the portal you see everything that belongs to your case and can respond directly. This is the simplest and usual route – email and phone remain open alongside it. Have your payment request to hand; the file number is printed on it.

Template for your objection

Subject: Objection to payment request [reference number]

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hereby object to the payment request dated [date]. On [date] my vehicle [number plate] stood on the site [location] from roughly [time] to [time].

As I see it, the situation was as follows: [brief account].

As evidence I enclose: [receipt, confirmation, photo].

I ask you to review the case and inform me of your decision.

Yours faithfully, [name and address]

What happens when you get in touch.

From your message to an answer.

  1. You describe the case

Plate, date and place of the visit, plus a few sentences on what happened from your point of view.

  2. We check

We look the visit up in the system: entry and exit, timestamps, filed permits, payments.

  3. You get an answer

A decision you can follow, with reasons. If your objection holds, we cancel your payment request.

How to reach us.

The usual route is our online portal: sign in with the file number from your payment request and respond right inside the case. Alongside that you can reach us by email, with the plate and the date in the message, or by phone. We answer your objection within 48 hours.

Common questions

Questions about appeals and goodwill.

Yes. If you can show that you were a customer of a business on the site at the time of the parking event, we treat the case with goodwill. A receipt, an invoice showing the time or an appointment confirmation is enough.

If you believe the charge is unjustified, the simplest way is to respond right in the online portal – signed in with the file number from your payment request, your case is already waiting there. Or describe the case to us with the plate, the date and the place. We review it and get back to you within 48 hours.

The plate, the date and the place of the visit, plus a few sentences on what happened from your point of view. If you have evidence, such as a payment receipt or a photo of the signage on site, it helps with the review.

Yes. We look at the individual visit in the system: entry and exit, timestamps, filed permits and payments. There is no blanket rejection.

Yes, for up to 48 hours after the visit ends – online, by entering the plate.

Anything that documents the stay: a till receipt or invoice with a time, an appointment or booking confirmation, proof of the parking fee paid, a photo of the signage or the situation on site, or a reference to a permit held for you. We do not need a formal document – set out the case and enclose what you have.

If the claim remains unpaid, we hand the case to our lawyers. That makes it considerably more expensive for you. Get in touch beforehand instead – including when you consider the claim unjustified.

That depends on the individual case, so we quote no rate here. What decides it is what can be evidenced. Where the breach is documented and the rule was recognisable, the claim stands.

We answer your objection within 48 hours. It is best to write by e-mail with the number plate, the date and a brief account – then we can match the case straight away and do not have to ask back.
